FAQ
What if I have bad credit, or no credit at all?
Because loans from our lending partners are based on your current income, credit history doesn’t play a role in the approval process. Even if you have no credit, as long as you meet the eligibility requirements you could be approved for a loan.
How much money can I be approved for?
Loan amounts vary depending on the lender. Loans range from $100 to $1,500. After you have developed a trusting relationship with our lending partner it could at its discretion increase your loan limit. It is important to note PaydayLoansHome.ca is not a lender or financial institution.
Will you run a credit check?
PaydayLoansHome.ca’s lending partners might need to verify some information with several national data bases including TransUnion. It is still possible to be approved with a bad credit score, or no credit score at all.
How long do I have before I have to repay the loan?
Payday loans can be out for a maximum of 15 days, and the repayment date is always set on your pay date.
What types of fees are involved?
Fees vary per lender. Depending on which province you live in, the fees will differ. PaydayLoansHome.ca is a free matching service. Our responsible lending partners charge fees for loans. The fees are a flat-rate and there are no hidden costs with their payday loans.
How long will before I get the loan?
After filling out the online application and receiving approval, you could get the money within 24 hours. Since it is deposited directly into your chequing account, the process is fast and simple.
I don’t live in Canada, can I still apply?
Our lending partners only offer loans to Canadians who meet eligibility requirements.
What can I use my payday loan for?
PaydayLoansHome.ca advocates responsible lending. It is recommended you use a payday loan during a short-term cash crunch. A payday loan is not meant to be used for luxury purchases but simply to make ends meet until your next payday. If you find yourself in long-term debt, we highly recommend you seek advice from a credit counsellor.
Can I get an extension or rollover my loan?
Our lending partners do not rollover loans. This is for your benefit as that type of loan typically causes more of a debt problem for users as outrageous interest charges accrue leading to credit troubles. |
